Individual Counselling
Beginning counselling is an investment in your wellbeing. I aim to provide a professional, welcoming and confidential service where you’ll feel supported throughout your counselling journey.
Session Fees
- Free 15-minute telephone consultation
- Individual counselling (50 minutes): £60 per session
- Adults and young people aged 16 and over
Payment
Payment is required before each session unless we’ve agreed otherwise. Payments can be made by bank transfer, card or cash and details will be provided when your appointment is confirmed.
Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or appointments not attended, will normally be charged at the full session fee.

Employee Counselling
Confidential one-to-one counselling for employees experiencing personal or work-related difficulties.
Pay as you go – £65 per 50-minute session
Ideal for organisations that want flexible support without an ongoing commitment.
Employee Counselling Packages
For organisations that would like to purchase counselling sessions in advance.
4-session package – £240
Equivalent to £60 per session
8-session package – £440
Equivalent to £55 per session
12-session package – £630
Equivalent to £52.50 per session
Sessions can be used by different employees and are available face-to-face in Stockport or online.
Manager Consultations
Confidential consultations to help managers support employee wellbeing, approach difficult conversations and signpost staff appropriately.
£75 per hour
A Flexible Alternative to a Traditional EAP
Not every organisation needs a large employee assistance programme.
APL Counselling Services offers a straightforward way for smaller businesses to provide confidential counselling support without long contracts, setup fees or paying for services they may never use.
You can purchase sessions as needed or choose a prepaid package depending on the level of support your organisation requires.
