How I Can Help

Sometimes it’s difficult to put into words exactly what’s wrong. You may feel overwhelmed, disconnected or as though you’re simply surviving rather than living. Whatever you’re experiencing, you don’t have to face it alone.

I provide counselling for adults and young people aged 16 and over in a safe, confidential and supportive environment. Together we’ll explore what’s been happening in your life, make sense of your experiences and work towards meaningful, lasting change.

Anxiety

Anxiety can affect every part of your life. You may find yourself constantly worrying, overthinking or expecting the worst to happen. It can leave you feeling exhausted, tense or unable to switch off.

Together we’ll explore what’s driving your anxiety and develop healthier ways of managing it so it no longer controls your life.

Depression and Low Mood

Depression isn’t simply feeling sad. It can leave you feeling numb, hopeless or disconnected from the people and things you once enjoyed.

Counselling provides a space to explore those feelings without judgement while helping you regain hope, confidence and direction.

Addiction and Recovery

Whether you’re currently struggling with addiction or maintaining recovery, life can bring challenges that feel difficult to manage alone.

I understand how addiction can affect every aspect of life, including relationships, confidence and emotional wellbeing. Therapy can help you understand the underlying issues, strengthen your recovery and build healthier ways of coping.

Trauma and PTSD

Traumatic experiences can continue to affect you long after the event has passed. You may experience flashbacks, anxiety, emotional numbness or feel constantly on edge.

Together we’ll work at your pace to help you process those experiences safely and reduce the impact they’re have on your life today.

Bereavement and Loss

Loss affects everyone differently. There is no right or wrong way to grieve.

Whether you’ve lost a loved one, experienced the end of a relationship or are grieving another significant loss, counselling can offer a safe place to process your emotions and adjust to life moving forward.

Self-Esteem and Confidence

Low self-esteem often develops over many years and can influence the way you see yourself and the choices you make.

Together we’ll explore where those beliefs began and help you build a healthier relationship with yourself.

Relationships

Relationships can be one of the greatest sources of happiness but also one of the greatest sources of pain.

Whether you’re experiencing conflict, difficulties setting boundaries, family issues or relationship breakdowns, counselling can help you understand your patterns and improve the way you relate to others.

Stress and Burnout

Modern life can feel relentless. Work, family responsibilities and everyday pressures can leave you feeling overwhelmed and emotionally exhausted.

Counselling can help you regain balance, identify what’s contributing to your stress and develop practical ways to protect your wellbeing.

Young People (16+)

Being a young person today brings unique pressures. Education, relationships, social media, identity and future expectations can all feel overwhelming.

I provide a safe, supportive space where young people aged 16 and over can explore their thoughts and feelings openly, helping them develop confidence, resilience and healthier ways of coping.

You Don’t Have to Have All the Answers

Many people come to counselling unsure of what’s wrong. They simply know that something doesn’t feel right.

That’s okay.

You don’t need to arrive with all the answers. We’ll make sense of things together, one step at a time.
